AUB Extends Mobile Banking Convenience to Zain Bahrain Customers

Ahli United Bank (AUB) has signed an agreement with Zain Bahrain, extending AUB’s consumer mobile banking solution to all Hewar post-paid and eeZee pre-paid customers.
The newly launched features now enable Zain Bahrain customers to check their Ahli United Bank account balance, pay their telephone and other utilities’ bills, or top up their prepaid accounts at the click of a button on their mobiles. By simply texting the designated transaction code to the dedicated service number, customers can also request a cheque book or an account statement, view loan balance and even transfer funds between AUB accounts.
“We are pleased to extend the benefits and convenience of mobile banking to a large segment of our customer base. This service is proving very popular as it enables our customers to keep track of their accounts and carry out a wide range of transactions on-the-go from the palm of their hand. They can do so irrespective where they are and at anytime of day or night,” said Abdulla Al-Raeesi, DGCEO Retail Banking, AUB.

To activate mobile banking, customers will simply need to register through AUB Contact Center at 1722199 or call Zain Bahrain Customer Service on 107 for more information.
