AUB Receives the J.P. Morgan Elite Quality Recognition Award

Ahli United Bank B.S.C. (AUB) has been awarded the prestigious 'Elite Quality Recognition Award' by JP Morgan Chase, the leading global financial services firm.

AUB has won in the 'Elite" category of the award for the last six consecutive years.

"The award is in acknowledgement of the consistent, high-quality performance and standards that Ahli United Bank's funds transfer operations management and staff have maintained for the 2009 calendar year", said a statement released by JP Morgan Chase & Co.

Ali Moosa, JP Morgan's Managing Director & Head of Financial Institutions, MENA region, formally presented the award to Shafqat Anwar, Deputy Group CEO, Operations and Technology, AUB, at a ceremony held at the Bank's headquarters in Seef.

Commenting on this achievement, Mr. Anwar, said," We are delighted to see the diligence and hard work of our entire team once again recognized through this award. To win this award for several consecutive years is a testament to our commitment to providing our customers with the most efficient, reliable and secure banking services at all times".

Since 1997, JPMorgan Chase has presented the Quality Recognition Award to those clients who achieve a "best-in-class" level of operating excellence. AUB has achieved 99.7% rate for straight through processing with JPMorgan, which is above average and considered a significant achievement by global standards.
