Bahrain to Host Preparatory Meeting of UN Environment Conference
Representatives of more than 40 non- governmental organizations (NGOs) from across the west Asia region will meet in Bahrain next week, in preparation for a world summit on environment, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The meeting is organized by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), in coordination with Bahrain's environmental affairs.
The event is the first in a series of meetings to be held in the region to discuss preparations for the forthcoming world summit on environment and sustainable development, to be held next year, it added – Albawaba.com
