British Prime Minister Tony Blair visited Jordan on Friday, touring the Red Sea resort of Aqaba as a guest of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, Jordan's official news agency said.
Blair and his wife, Cherie, visited the monarch's Bahr Palace in Aqaba, 350 kilometers south of the capital Amman, as part of a private visit, the Petra news agency added. The visit also included a trip to the ancient rose stone Nabatean city of Petra.
The Blairs and their four children spent the Christmas vacation in Egypt, according to the British news agency Press Association. (Albawaba.com)
