Boeing selects Cognos solutions for enterprise reporting
Cognos, (NASDAQ: COGN; TSX: CSN), the world leader in business intelligence (BI) and corporate performance management, has signed a multi-year agreement with The Boeing Company.
The global manufacturer will use Cognos’ enterprise business intelligence solution, including Cognos ReportNet™, to provide common business reporting. The Cognos solution, part of an enterprise-wide business intelligence initiative, will be utilised within Boeing commercial airplanes, integrated defense systems, shared services group, and Connexion by BoeingSM. UAE-based airline Emirates is one of Boeing’s largest regional customers and recently ordered 30 commercial 777-300ER (Extended Range) aircrafts. It will be one of the world’s largest operators of airplanes in Boeing’s 777 family.
