Suicide bombing kills two in Afghanistan

A suicide bomber attacked the residence of a public representative in eastern Nangarhar province on Sunday, causing several casualties, Pajhwok reports.
The bomb attack happened in Jalalabad, the provincial capital, at 10.30am acoording to the Nangarhar governor's spokesman, Attaullah Khogyani.
He said at least two people were killed and 15 others wounded in the suicide attack on provincial council member Obaidullah Shinwari's residence in the third police district.
Provincial council secretary Zabihullah Zmaray confirmed the assault, saying many people had gathered at Shinwari's house following the release of his brother from jail.
