British spy released from jail
British spy, David Shayler was released from jail Monday after serving seven weeks of a six-month sentence for selling secret documents to a newspaper. "It's good to be free," said Shayler, a former agent for Britain's domestic intelligence agency MI5, as he walked from the gates of Ford prison in southwest England, AP reported.
Shayler, who was found guilty in November of breaching Britain's Official Secrets Act by selling 28 documents, is inclined to spend another seven weeks under home curfew. He will be electronically tagged and will have to stay home from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. (Albawaba.com)
