Stephen Kelly, head of BT Global Telecom Markets, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said: "We are very proud of this recognition of our global reach and focus on our telco customers. As one of the very first telecommunications operators in the world, BT today remains committed to bringing the benefits of connectivity to virtually every part of the world."
The Telecoms World Awards Middle East event, running for the fourth year, is organized by a business media and events agency Terrapinn.
Matthew Wallhead, general manager, Terrapinn Middle East, said: "This achievement is particularly impressive given that BT was competing against the very best carriers from every continent.
