Cairo: Palestinian Prime Minister to attend Sharm el-Sheikh summit
Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmud Abbas is to take part in the June 3 summit between United States President George W. Bush and Arab leaders in Egypt's Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, the Egyptian president's office said on Wednesday.
Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's office greeted "the participation in the summit of the Palestinian Authority represented by Prime Minister Mahmud Abbas", in a statement carried by MENA news agency.
The summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, due next Tuesday will group the US President with six Arab leaders including Abbas, it said. (Albawaba.com)
