The UN Security Council will meet today to discuss the ongoing crisis in Gaza, and Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas has also called for Hamas to immediately accept a second version of the Egyptian ceasefire deal during his meeting with Turkey's leadership in Ankara Friday.
The Vatican called on Palestinian and Israeli leadership to implement an immediate ceasefire Friday to end the Gaza conflict.
