Date set for Morocco’s General elections
Morocco’s King Mohammed VI has set September 27 as the date for general elections in his country, the official MAP news agency reported Tuesday. The poll will be the first to be held under the reign of Mohammed VI who was enthroned in July 1999. The previous elections were held in November 1997.
The one round of voting for 325 members of parliament will be held under proportional representation. (Albawaba.com)
