Death cases from car accidents in Algiers Province on the decline

The number of Algerians, who died in car accidents in Algiers Province reached 1,181 during the first half of the current year. This figure reflects a 19% decline compared to the equivalent period of last year, when the number of victims was 1,575, the July 21 edition of <i>Al-Khabar</i> newspaper reported.

The province's safety authorities have attributed this drop to the implementation of a new traffic law.
