Dubai CP Calls for Peaceful Co-Existence
Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Defense Minister Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum has said the UAE welcomes all visitors who share "our Arab-Muslim people's belief in peaceful co-existence among nations on the basis of love, respect and decent living for everybody irrespective of his religion, color and origin."
The welcome message was made by Sheikh Mohammad Saturday during the opening of the Big 5 Show.
Sheikh Mohammed was quoted by the Gulf News as saying that the companies and businessmen who were taking part in the event expressed their happiness to be in UAE, which they called "safe."
"I observed during my conversations with exhibitors, who are participating in the event, that they are happy and feel safe," he said, assuring them of safe and stable UAE and regional markets.
"There is nothing that will hamper our country's normal business activities," Sheikh Mohammed said.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Mohammed yesterday launched the website of the Dubai Economic Development Department as part of the e-government initiative.
