Dubai-Hong Kong trade ties get a boost
Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry in association with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council jointly hosted a business luncheon in honour of HE Donald Tsang, Chief Executive, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and his high-power business delegation of 24 most influential businessmen from the financial and real estate services sectors of Hong Kong at the Godolphin Ballroom of the Emirates Towers hotel in Dubai on Thursday.
Based on the success of their last trade mission to Dubai and HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai’s visit to South Korea, Vietnam, India and China, the delegation was in the UAE to explore investment opportunities and also to urge local investors and businessmen to benefit from their latest market developments in the Greater China region.
The delegation was received by HE Raja Al Gurg, Member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Dubai Chamber who said that the meeting will definitely take the trade relationship between the two countries to the next level. “We are truly honored to be co-organising this prestigious event and hope that our networking today will provide a solid platform for our business communities to meet and discuss potential areas of cooperation that could be translated into mutual business partnerships in the future.”
