Harbor Real Estate, an integrated Real Estate service provider based in Dubai, has scooped three top awards at the recent 2010 Arabian Property Awards.
The awards, part of the prestigious International Property Awards in association with Bloomberg Television, Google UK, New York Times and The International Herald Tribune were presented during a gala dinner at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai on 26th October 2010.
The three awards received by Harbor included:

Commenting on this recognition, Mohanad Alwadiya, Managing Director of Harbor Real Estate, said: “It’s a great honor to be recognized by an international panel of such distinguished industry professionals. We have always pursued innovative marketing solutions and a result-oriented approach for the benefit of our clients. It’s nice to know that we are considered to be setting new standards whether locally, regionally and internationally.”
The Arabian Property Awards in association with Bloomberg Television are part of the International Property Awards which were established 16 years. Judging for the awards was carried out by the International Property Awards' expert panel of judges at the London offices of Bloomberg Television. Entries were also outsourced to leading experts around the world.
This year's judges included Luke McKend, industry head property markets of Google UK; Peter Bolton King, group chief executive of the National Federation of Property Professionals; Christopher Hall, president elect of FIABCI; Thijs Stoffer, International Consortium of Real Estate Agents Association (ICREA); Fiona Nixon, chairman of the Australia Institute of Architects, Hendrik Nelde, president of FIABCI Belgium; Helen Shield, editor-in-chief of International Homes Luxury Collection magazine and Sven Johns, CEO of the German Real Estate Association; and many more.
Later this year, top scoring winners from the Arabian Property Awards will compete with the world’s best from Asia Pacific, Europe & Africa, the UK and the Americas.
“We need to benchmark ourselves internationally “added Alwadiya. “The real estate industry has entered an era where success for our clients is dependent upon our capability to think differently, to be able to identify and promote scarce opportunities effectively, and deliver tangible results against all odds. The industry is evolving rapidly and a new breed of professional with fresh thinking is required and that’s our forte”
Stuart Shield, president of the International Property Awards, said: “I was taken aback by the outstanding quality of the winning entries – their originality, creativity and presentation. The awards gala dinner and its associated networking event attracted a great number of chief executive officers from Arabia’s residential and commercial property sectors. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall to find out what creations these meetings of minds will bring in the future!”
