Ducab, the leading manufacturer of high quality power cables in the Middle East, has announced its participation in the Middle East Electricity Exhibition and Conference that will be held at the Dubai International Exhibition Center from February 5th to 8th, 2006. “Ducab has been a regular participant in this exhibition, which is the region’s premier Energy show, bringing together leading industry players from around the world. Moreover, the event presents numerous opportunities for participants to network with industry peers and explore possibilities of business alliances,” said Colin Paskins, Managing Director, Ducab.
“We look forward to capitalising on the reach and popularity of the exhibition by showcasing our production capabilities and highlighting our focus on manufacturing high voltage power cables of the highest quality,” added Paskins.
During the four day exhibition, Ducab will be showcasing its range of cables including Ducab Powerplus MV cables, Fire resistance cables, Ducab Smokemaster - low smoke and fume cables, Instrumentation and Pilot cables, Control and Auxiliary cables, Wiring cables and Lead sheathed cables for the oil, gas and petrochemical sector.
Ducab will also be highlighting the training programmes offered by its Jointer Academy, which was set up to help raise the skill levels of jointers and improve the standards of jointing practice by adopting approved and unified procedures. Apart from regular courses held at the Ducab factory, the Ducab Jointer Training Academy also conducts customised training at the customer’s premises or on-site if required.
On February 6, 2006, Ducab will be hosting a seminar in association with BASEC under the title of ‘BASEC Approvals for Growing Markets’, in its effort to raise quality awareness and to highlight the importance of selecting an internationally approved supplier.
The Middle East Electricity exhibition is rated amongst the world’s top five energy shows by exhibitors, and the strength of the event lies in the remarkably high number of senior key decision makers who visit the show. Supported by the UAE Ministry of Energy and the Federal Electricity & Water Authority (FEWA), it acts both as a showcase for the global energy industry and a platform that allows the region’s energy professionals to see, first hand, the latest products and services that the world leaders have to offer.
