e-junior’s “Double Trouble” show all set to educate teens on dealing with social issues
e-junior, the exclusive UAE kids channel from E-Vision will be broadcasting a brand new interactive show called “Double Trouble” which will feature two presenters discussing various social issues affecting teenagers in schools and daily life and advice on how to deal with them.
The show will air on e-junior in December and will be telecast in English with Arabic subtitles. Preceded by an extensive year-long background research on relevant issues and speaking to students as well as teachers and parents, the show will highlight issues such as bullying, fear of exams, loneliness and friendship - among other topics.
Each episode deals with one such issue and features presenters discussing the topic and getting together in a science lab to create a magic potion which consists of tips and advice on how to deal with the issue. The entire shoot for the show was done at Al Khaleej National School in Dubai with the generous support of its students and teachers.
According to Fatiha Bensalem, Channel Manager/ e-junior, "The objective behind the show is to present practical advice for kids on how they can cope with various social and moral issues which they may encounter in school and daily lives. The feedback we received on the concept prior to launching the production of the show was very encouraging and we realised that it would be very relevant to kids across the UAE. This is yet another meaningful initiative from e-junior and is part of our long term commitment to creating locally relevant shows for kids in the UAE and is also part of our responsibility towards the community.”
