Egypt’s PM to Deliver Message from Mubarak to Jordan’s King
Egyptian Prime Minister Atef Ebeid will visit Jordan on Monday to deliver a message from President Hosni Mubarak to Jordan's King Abdullah, reported the daily Al Ahram on Saturday.
It said the message deals with "a number of important issues, concerning the situation in the Palestinian territories as well as ways to boost bilateral ties between Egypt and Jordan in the fields of politics and economy."
Meanwhile, Ebeid and his Jordanian counterpart, Ali Abu Ragheb, will co-chair Monday the joint Egyptian-Jordanian commission, said the paper.
The two countries are expected to sign twelve cooperation agreements in the fields of trade, education, culture, environment and health, Al Ahram said.
Meanwhile, Atef Ebeid arrived Friday in Riyadh for a brief visit to Saudi Arabia on his way back from a summit of the G-15 group of developing countries in Jakarta, Egypt's ambassador to Riyadh said, quoted by AFP.
Ebeid will hold talks Saturday with the Saudi finance, oil and mineral resources ministers to discuss economic cooperation, said Ambassador Helmi Bdeir.
