Alber Saber is a self-professed Atheist who happens to come from a Coptic Christian family. For some reason this has been repeatedly misreported in the media.

Atheism is crime not only for believers in monotheistic religions: atheists were persecuted even in the heathen times, because the people believed that they evoke the anger of gods. Plato’s Nocturnal Council is the most known precursor of the papal Inquisition. However, the problem is that atheism itself is the greatest punishment – I would define it as leprosy of the soul, which is not able to approach her Creator. So, to persecute sick and already disadvantaged people is not appropriate for any religion that has mercy and love as the greatest ideals. To kill or persecute atheists is to deny them the chance to come to God. I would allow the freedom of religious and non–religious expression – only God the Almighty has right to judge His creations, yet I would also make the religious education mandatory in all public schools and other educational institutions.

The Arab Spring was a total misnomer it should have been "the MB spring" or the year that fascism returned to Arabia. Tourism in these countries will gradually die and oil rich countries will not save the others. Even worse poverty faces the Arab world and the islamists will blame the West. I fear another World war is on the horizon.
