Egypt's foreign minister due to visit Israel for talks with counterpart, prime minister
Egypt's foreign minister Ahmad Maher is expected to pay a visit to Israel on Monday to meet his Israeli counterpart, Silvan Shalom and Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, Qatar news agency reported, citing Israeli sources.
According to the report, the sources said the Egyptian top official will ask the Israeli side to agree on a truce with the Palestinians and to stop Israeli incursions into Palestinian territories. (Albawaba.com)
