Elementa Organizes Re-Source, a Group Exhibition of Young Emirati Artists
Under the patronage of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Elementa, a Dubai-based art gallery is organizing Re-Source, a group exhibition of young contemporary Emirati artists from 31 January to 5 March 2009. The event is aimed at providing young Emirati artists with a platform to showcase their work.
Artists featured in the exhibition include Hind Bin Demaithan; Reem Al Ghaith; Maitha Huraiz; Layla Juma; Abdul Rahman Al Ma’aini; Lateefa bint Maktoum; Khalid Mezaina; Kholoud Sharafi; Moza Al Suwaidi; and Abeer Tahlak.
The picture features one of the artists, Ms. Hind BinDemaithan, in the group show beside her installation artwork. The exhibition is being held at Gallery 88 at the Dubai Airport Free Zone.
