the ethernet alliance names harpreet chadha as chair of technical committee and vice president of technology
Extreme Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: EXTR) today announced that the Ethernet Alliance (http://www.ethernetalliance.org/home) has elected Harpreet Chadha as its technical committee chair and vice president of technology. Chadha currently serves as a director of product management for Extreme Networks.
The Ethernet Alliance, formed in 2006, promotes industry awareness, acceptance and advancement of technology and products based on existing and emerging IEEE 802 Ethernet standards. It focuses on the entire spectrum of network users and applications, from those of telecom carriers, to corporate enterprises, to consumers.

Harpreet Chadha is director of product management at Extreme Networks, Inc., where he oversees product development of scalable Ethernet switching solutions that help enterprises and carriers build intelligent, cost-effective networks. Chadha holds a Masters Degree and Doctorate from North Carolina State University.
