Festival pays tribute to Sid Ali Kouiret
The first Maghreb film festival of Oujda, Morocco is featuring several Algerian films. In addition, the festival has paid tribute to Algerian actor Sid Ali Kouiret, 72, and three other prominent figures of Maghreb cinema. Organizers, script writers and actors from the Maghreb paid a special tribute to the Algerian’s career.
The veteran actor has participated in many films and TV programs, including "Les Suspects (2004), " La Famille Ramdam, (1989), Les Sacrifiés, (1983), Les Ambassadeurs (The Ambassadors ) (1977), Awdat al ibn al dal (The Return of the Prodigal Son) (1976).
