FINE wins major honor at Retail News Middle East Awards 2006
FINE, the market leaders in the Middle East hygienic paper industry, has won the Best Toiletry Product of the Year award at the prestigious Retail News Middle East Awards 2006, edging several high profile competitors. The annual awards are instituted by Retail News Middle East, a leading business magazine catering to FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) professionals in the region, which is a part of ITP, the largest business and consumer magazine publisher in the Middle East.
“We consider it an honor to be given this award,” said Peter Janho, The Chief Area Officer - Arabian Peninsula and Iran of FINE. “FINE has built its reputation on the strength of its commitment to the consumer, which is reflected in the unmatched quality of our products. We see this award as a recognition for our tradition of excellence, and we are confident this achievement will inspire us to reach new heights of innovation and quality, which we are renowned for. For instance, SteriPro, our latest innovation that involves sterilizing every tissue before it is packed, has given us a real edge over our competition.”
“FINE’s continued success is a result of the teamwork of our staff, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank and congratulate everyone at FINE for their contribution,” Janho added. “FINE is looking to consolidate its leadership position in the regional market, and will continue to broaden its portfolio by offering customers a wider selection of high-quality major retail and away from home products including facial tissues, which have undergone SteriPro, a unique sterilization process that eliminates germs from tissues before they are packed. The process has enabled FINE to maintain the highest standards of quality and hygiene.”
FINE has recently embarked on an ambitious expansion plan which aims to create major distribution centers outside Dubai. Several new production lines have also been planned for commissioning as part of the company’s expansion strategy.
