Fresh aftershock hits Algerian town
A new aftershock has jolted the Algerian town of Zemmouri, east of the capital, less than two weeks after over than 2,200 people died in a devastating earthquake in the region, the Algerian Center for Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics said on Monday.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
The aftershock in Zemouri, which took place at 11:31 pm (local time) Monday, measured 4.2 on the Richter scale. (Albawaba.com)
