Gaza Strip: Three Islamic Jihad members killed by Israeli fire
An Israeli air raid on Thursday killed three Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian officials have said. Several people were also injured when Israeli aircraft targeted a vehicle in the eastern district of Gaza.
The vehicle was completely destroyed by the Israeli airstrike. The Israeli army confirmed the raid and said the targets were members of the Islamic Jihad. Israel added one of the dead was an Islamic Jihad field commander.
Earlier, a rocket launched by the Islamic Jihad wounded an Israeli woman in the town of Sderot.
