Graduation of Oracle Courses Participants of GAM Employees
A celebration was held recently at Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) to graduate its employees who participated in the training courses on Oracle applications, held by the management office of GAM Resources Planning Project (Oracle).
Manager of Amman City Ammar Gharaybeh said that since two years and a half ago, GAM adopted Oracle system application to develop its institutional performance, improve the resources management, be able to plan its financial and human resources, and to, eventually, realize the strategic goals.
He emphasized that GAM is keen to develop its human resources through the rehabilitation and training programs to attain sustainability, qualification, and excellence.
He indicated that Oracle system is a comprehensive program depending on cooperation among all the concerned departments and teamwork spirits.
Executive Director of IT department, Sakhr Khreisha, declared that the Oracle project includes an array of integrated and combined programs in a central data base designed to improve the resources management process at GAM. The system is meant to automate the work procedures, improve the management of resources information, and help extract analytic reports on the performance of the institution’s resources.
Training the graduates of the two week courses was executed in participation with the companies Oracle and Deloitte, who trained and rehabilitated the employees through different phases of the project.
Concluding the ceremony, Engineer Gharaybeh handed over certificates to the 75 graduates from different professional ranks and departments.
