Grand Hyatt Doha Celebrates Its First Anniversary
Grand Hyatt Doha is celebrating its first year of successful operation with successive events and promotions.
The 249-room, 91-residence hotel complex is the first property in Qatar of Chicago based Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Grand Hyatt Doha opened in April 2009 and since then has gained recognition and reputation for its unique facilities and impeccable service. The first anniversary will be marked by a host of special treats from April to June. The celebration kicked off early April with a successful Italian wine dinner at its poolside restaurant Rocca and a Spanish flamenco performance at Al Maha lounge.
Come 19 to 30 April, the signature restaurant Isaan will bring consultant and guest chef Supattra Panyasombat from Park Hyatt Dubai. Chef Supattra will conduct a series of cooking classes that will enable participants to learn how to prepare favourite Thai dishes. She will also prepare a champagne dinner with a special menu paired with Billecart Salmon champagne on 30 Apr.
Next month, Rocca, will present an array of events and promotions which will offer a wide range of dishes from the Mediterranean culinary tradition. another wine dinner, this time offering a select wine from Italy matched with culinary tradition crafted Italian cuisine.
The Paella Ole! daily promotions will be a delight for those who want to explore wines or beer paired with succulent Spanish Paella. Then in Rocca Meets France, guests will enjoy a five-course gourmet meal featuring authentic French wine. Discerning diners will have the chance to listen to Viktoria Tolstoy, the famous Swedish/Russian jazz singer and Vladislav Sendecki a Polish jazz pianist, while partaking a scrumptious three-course menu in Rocca during Gulf Jazz Festival on Monday, May 3rd 2010
