HH Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Inaugurates The Farjam Collection’s Latest Exhibition
HH Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) opened The Farjam Collection’s From Matisse to Warhol: Works on Paper by Modern Masters on January 27th in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and His Excellency Ahmed Humaid Al Tayer, Governor of the DIFC.
Dr Farjam, owner of the collection, gave the first tour of the exhibition, highlighting key pieces in the exhibition by Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, and Salvador Dali. Representing some of the greatest Western artists of the 20th Century, this exhibition, drawn from Dr. Farjam’s extensive private collection, features some artwork never before displayed to the public.

The Farjam Collection @ DIFC
The Farjam Collection @ DIFC showcases a rotating series of exhibitions drawn from the Farjam Collection. A programme of educational events offers audiences the opportunity to learn more about the works on view and the context in which these were produced.
From Matisse to Warhol: Works on Paper by Modern Masters will run through February.
First Wednesdays will be held on Wednesday 3 February from 1.00pm – 1.30pm with a guided tour led by Emilie Faure.
School and University Programmes will run in conjunction with the exhibition throughout February.
All exhibitions and programmes are free and open to the public. Due to the popularity of the programmes, visitors are advised to book in advance. The Farjam Collection is open: Sunday to Thursday, 10 am to 8 pm; Saturday 12 pm to 8 pm.
