Hizbullah fires missiles at Israeli positions in occupied zone
Hizbullah gunners fired mortars at Israeli military positions in the occupied Shebaa Farms region Friday morning. There have been no reports of casualties.
The Israeli Army said its forces were returning fire.
Hizbullah attack came less than a week after the killing of a Hizbullah official. Ali Hussein Saleh was killed when a bomb ripped apart his car south of Beirut on Saturday, and Hizbullah, blaming Israel for what is called 'an assassination,'vowed revenge.
The Shebaa Farms area is at the base of the Golan Heights, territory Israel occupied from Syria in the 1967 Arab-Israeli war. (Albawaba.com)
