Indian, Sudanese Renewing Saudi Visas to be Tested for TB, Meningitis
Indian and Sudanese expatriates wishing to renew their Saudi work permits will have to produce medical certificates showing that they are not suffering from tuberculosis or meningitis, newspapers reported Thursday.
Residence visas will not be issued if the claimant is found to be suffering from one of these diseases, Al-Iqtissadiya said.
A health ministry source told the paper the move was in reaction to outbreaks of the two diseases in India and Sudan.
