Info2cell.com develops Samsung WAP portal for users in the Middle East and Africa region
Info2cell.com, the leading mobile application content and service provider in the Middle East, has announced the successful launch of Samsung's Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) portal for users in the Middle East and Africa region. The new portal, which is developed and powered by Info2cell.com, will allow Samsung mobile phone users access to free downloadable media content and applications like videos, games, ringtones and screen savers. The new offering is the result of a recently formed strategic partnership between Info2cell.com and Samsung, complementing the former's commitment to provide more mobile Value Added Services to its subscribers across countries in the Middle East and Africa.
Under the terms of the new partnership, Samsung will utilize Info2cell.com's Value Added Service platform to develop and host the specialized WAP portal. Samsung mobile phone users can visit the portal and download free java-based games like Diamond Delight and Dot-a-lot; ringtones of some of today's hottest hits; short animated video clips and screensavers and colorful wallpaper displays. All services and content are available in English, Arabic and French.
