INTERPOL Expo Attracts Security Leaders from Around the World
The exhibition on sidelines of the INTERPOL conference attracted decision makers in the ministries of interior and public security among the world to learn the latest technological systems in the civil field and personal identification.
Many national authorities expressed its keenness with exhibitors to sign contracts for delivering systems and electronic devices to help them provide the best services on official documents.
His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the Minister of State for Interior Affairs opened the exhibition accompanied by several ministers of Interior, Public Security and heads of delegations participating in 79th session of the INTERPOL General Assembly.
The Safran French company is presenting its latest products in the field of biological identification such as eye ,face and fingers prints .
Engineer Abdullah Ayyub from Merfo Company, branch of safran said that the exhibition o the sidelines of the INTERPOL is a good opportunity to meet decision makers to introduce them the latest technological products.
The Belgium Simlex Group presents its services to make an integrated civil register depending on the accurate biometric data preserved in the ministries of interior among the world countries.
"The company provides travel document control and reading systems and also offers its services for the issuance of passports and visas for the states of Comoros, Mozambique", the chairman of company said.
The Ministry of Interior is exhibiting manual device to record traffic violations at different places, self kiosks to complete different services of the Ministry and the devices that capture biometric samples.
Lt. Aaid al-Ahbabi said that the self-service kiosks is available in commercial complexes in Doha. People can complete transactions of entry visas, traffic violations and laborers register. He also said the international delegations that visits the pavilion are excited the electronic devices used in Qatar.
The Lakhwiya (Internal Security Force) pavilion is exhibiting the experience of search and rescue team in providing humanitarian assistance at the disaster places around the world in the supervision of Capt. Mubarak Shuraida al-Kaabi.
