Iran decides to release eight British sailors
Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi told reporters Wednesday that the eight British sailors detained in Iran's territorial waters would be released later in the day, IRNA reported.
The sailors were held by Iranian naval forces on June 21 after they entered the Iranian territorial waters in the Persian Gulf bordering with Iraq on board of three British naval vessels. The British officials later announced that the vessels had unintentionally entered the Iranian territorial waters. (Albawaba.com)
