Iran vows to confront possible attacks
Iran will use its ultimate combat power to confront any possible attacks, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) commander, Brigadier General Mohammad-Ali Ja'fari, said on Monday. According to IRNA, He said Iran would try to use all its missile and defensive capabilities to strike enemies' targets.
Although, enemies might prefer to shorten the time of their possible war on Iran, "We, from the outset of any war, will try to prolong it in order to use all our missile and non-missile capabilities against enemies," said the commander.
Meanwhile, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili and EU foreign policy chief, Javier Solana discussed Iran's nuclear program over phone Monday afternoon.
