Iranian newspaper rebuffs U.S. nuclear claims
Iran Daily on Tuesday blasted the US media's "new propaganda tirade against Iran's nuclear programs."
The weekly Time magazine, in a report in advance of its Monday edition, quoted diplomatic sources as saying that activities in the Natanz nuclear facility in Central Iran is "extremely advanced" and puts Iran in violation of its commitments under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) to which it is a signatory.
The Iranian newspaper wrote "The TV network ABC's report that Israel has every right to attack Iran's nuclear power plant," perhaps reveals who is behind all these smear campaign against the Islamic Republic.
The American media's behavior over the issue only shows the conceitedness of American officials in trying to weaken international institutions by distorting the truth, the newspaper added. (Albawaba.com)
