Israeli troops kill two Palestinians in West Bank and Gaza Strip
Israeli soldiers on Wednesday killed a Palestinian photographer and arrested six others in the West Bank city of Nablus, witnesses and Palestinian local sources said.
The witnesses told WAFA that Israeli troops stormed a studio near al-Najah University, in Nablus, and killed Shadi al-Masri 26, and arrested six other photographers, who planned to cover graduation ceremony, of 2046 students, at al-Najah University, witnesses added.
"The photographers gathered at Studio (al-Iman), near al-Najah University and suddenly Israeli troops stormed the studio. They killed al-Masri and arrested six others," eyewitness told WAFA. Local source said that Israeli soldiers shot al-Masri in the shoulder and held his body.
The owner of the studio, Mohammed Allosh, is among the six arrested, local sources added. For its part, the Israeli Army said the raid was aimed at arresting the head of the Islamic Jihad military wing in Nablus.
Elsewhere, another Palestinian was killed Wednesday and two others were arrested by Israeli forces in the city of Beit Hanoun, at the northern Strip of Gaza, Palestinian medical source said, and witnesses said.
Kamal 'Odwan Hospital sources said that Ibrahim Abu Sa'ada 21, was killed on the spot after having been shot with live gunshots in different parts of the body.
Witnesses said that Israeli troops, shot dead Abu Sa'ada during their ongoing razing of arable land in the city, adding that he was the third Palestinian to be killed in less than 24 hours.
