Jordan’s King to visit Oman
Jordan’s King Abdullah II is to begin a two-day official visit to the Sultanate of Oman Monday, where he is scheduled to hold talks with the Sultan of Oman, Qaboos bin Saeed over current developments in the Palestinian arena, the middle east peace process and a number of other regional and international issues of common concern, KUNA reported.
The Jordanian-Oman discussions will also deal with the situation in the Arabian Gulf in wake of the current US threats to strike Iraq. In addition, bilateral relations in all aspects between Muscat and Amman will be discussed.
In the past three years, Oman and Jordan have developed commercial and economic relations, and reached over 50 million US dollars in trade exchange between the two countries in 2001. (Albawaba.com)
