Jordan, Tunisia to Cancel Entry Visa Requirement for Businessmen
In a bid to spur commerce, the Tunisian and Jordanian governments are expected to allow businessmen to travel freely between the two countries, eliminating the need for entry visas.
Official sources said the two parties discussed the possibility of expanding the agreement, which was signed between them last week in Amman, to cancel the entry visas for both private and diplomatic passports.
The agreement was signed by Jordanian Minister of Industry and Trade Wasef Azar and Tunisian Ambassador in Amman Muhammad Al Habib Kaabashi.
The stated goal of the agreement was to further the aims of the "open borders" policy - Albawaba.com
