Jumeirah Primary School supports Dubai Centre for Special Needs
Jumeirah Primary School, one of the Global Education Management Systems (GEMS) schools, in its commitment towards society has made a worthy contribution to the students of Dubai Centre for Special Needs (DCSN).
In its continuing efforts, JPS recently raised funds to support the students of Dubai Centre for Special Needs. The cheque was presented to Dr. Mahsheed Salehi, Director of DCSN, at a recent ceremony held in their school premises. The funds for this noble cause were raised through a charity dinner held at the Grand Hyatt.
The dinner was organised by the school’s Parent Association and had interesting performances by students of the DCSN that depicted the life and times of Dubai. JPS and their parent association were successful in organising funds worth AED 52,000 that have been donated to DSCN.
“Our donation to DCSN signifies one of our core values, ‘Universal Values’, that helps students to develop the morals, principles and ethics that are respected, admired and accepted in all cultures around the world. Students are taught healthy social attitudes and a spirit of humanity, providing the ethical foundations and social skills to guide them through life”, Stuart Dennis, Principal, Jumeirah Primary School (JPS).
JPS will continue to take such generous initiatives and work towards building professional links with Dubai Centre for Special Needs.
