Kia Jordan announces the winner of the “Guess What Car” campaign
Following weeks of anticipation, the "Guess What Car" teaser campaign was concluded after an announcement made by National Arab Motors (Kia Jordan) revealing the car to be the new 2011 Kia Optima. Contestant Dana Muhammad Said Rweis was named the contest's winner, receiving the grand prize of a fully-paid trip for two to the European city of her choice.
The campaign, launched by Kia Jordan earlier this month, featured banners showing a fully covered car with a small portion of its front exposed. The public were invited to guess the brand of the car and to submit their answers through the campaign's designated website www.guesswhatcar.net . The company simplified the process by creating a list of all major international car manufacturers and all contestants had to do was fill their personal information and choose a brand.
The company's President Samir Tayeh extended his congratulations to the contest's winner, saying: "Our objective was to create a buzz surrounding the new 2011 Kia Optima, which features a sleek, daring design and a myriad of features that give its driver a fun and exhilarating driving experience. This was the very spirit of our campaign."
The launch of Kia Optima 2011 has created a qualitative leap in the arena of sedan vehicles, as the car sports two VVT engines – a 2.0 L with 165 horsepower and a 2.4 L with 187 horsepower – which gives the car great versatility while trekking through different road types and climates. The Optima also takes safety benchmarks to new levels, with its front and rear airbag system, ABS, anti-skid, automated stability control, rear parking sensors and more.
National Arab Motors had recently announced that the new Optima is available at its showrooms in Mecca Street.
