King Fahd Deplores Israel's Killing of Palestinians
Saudi King Fahd on Monday deplored Israel's continued killing of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, the official news agency SPA reported.
"The Saudi kingdom denounces Israel's continued aggression and its recourse to arms against innocent civilians in the Palestinian territories," said the king, chairing a cabinet meeting.
The kingdom on Monday airlifted 16 tons of medical aid as well as ambulances destined for the Palestinians in three planes, via an airport in Egypt. Two more planes were sent to evacuate 16 wounded Palestinians.
The operation is part of an air bridge which King Fahd ordered to help the Palestinians after clashes with Israel that have claimed more than 100 lives, mostly Arabs, since September 28. Two more Palestinians were killed on Monday.
