King Mohammed Seeks Better Neighborly Relations
King Mohammed declared yesterday a new set of measures towards African states in order to improve relations.
In his speech on the occasion of the African European Summit in Cairo, the monarch said that his country would write off all the debts of the poor African states and would lift all obstacles to import products from those nations, al Anbaa daily reports. According to King Mohammed, the debts are the heaviest burden suppressing economic growth of some countries. Additionally, he praised the Summit by saying that Africa is looking with hope to a better future in the third millennium. This kind of event can help African people and help to get it out from the severe poverty it faces, the King concluded.
