Opportunities in Kuwait's $200 billion projects market will be in the spotlight at a three-day conference hosted by MEED, a primary source of business intelligence for the Middle East.

The conference, to be held from Monday 29 November to Wednesday 1 December at the JW Marriott Hotel, will update delegates on major developments in Kuwait's project market.

The opening day will focus on the National Plan, the oil and gas sector and water projects. Day two will be dedicated to mega-infrastructure and real estate projects, while the third day has been set aside for the PPP focused masterclass.

A keynote speaker at the conference, Farouk Al Zanki, Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, said: "Kuwait's economy is supported by a commitment to long-term economic diversification through sustained investments in various sectors. The country boasts one of the most buoyant projects market in the region, with plenty of of opportunities. These opportunities will be the main focus of the conference."

Al Zanki will use his address at the conference to update delegates on Kuwait Petroleum Corporation's achievements, current projects and future plans.

Other keynote speakers addressing the 6th Annual Kuwait Projects Conference include Eng.Abdulaziz Al Kulaib, Undersecretary, Ministry of Public Works, Kuwait, who will be showcasing the mega-projects being planned and executed by the Ministry of Public Works; and Shaikha Al Bahar, National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), who will speak about successfully delivering mega-projects in Kuwait in line with the 2035 vision.

NBK, the leading banking institution in Kuwait, is the strategic partner of the event. Kuwait Petroleum Company is the supporting partner. The event's primary focus will be on those sectors identified as presenting the best commercial opportunities.
