Kuwaiti PM to meet US President in Washington
US President Bush is expected to receive new Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah on September 10 in Washington, the White House announced on Monday.
"The (US) President values the significant contributions that the Kuwaiti government and people have made to the liberation of Iraq from the regime of Saddam Hussein and to the improvement of the lives of the Iraqi people," White House press secretary Scott McClellan said in a statement.
The White House said that both leaders would exchange views on regional security matters and the global war against "terrorism". (Albawaba.com)
