Lebanon PM: Cabinet to resign later this month
Lebanon's Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri declared Thursday that his cabinet would resign later this month. "The government will hold its last cabinet meeting on the 20th of this month ... and then will come the change," Hariri told the media following a cabinet meeting.
The move came after earlier this week four ministers resigned in protest to the change in constitution, which allowed President Emile Lahoud to keep his post for additional three years. (albawaba.com)
