Eight Syrians were arrested near the Bekaa Valley border village of Arsal over suspected links with terrorist organizations, the Lebanese Army said Wednesday.
In a statement, the Army said the suspects were arrested in the Arsal area Tuesday evening for illegally entering Lebanon.
Some of them were driving cars and motorcycles without registration documents, the statement added.
It said the suspects were referred to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
