LG Electronics Announces the fourth Quarter Evaluation Results
Celebrating the latest accomplishments of LG Media Club, and Strengthening ties with its members, global digital leader LG Electronics announced its first quarter evaluation results at its quarterly Media, at the Grand Hyatt Amman, on January 14.
The event demonstrates LG Electronics’ growing relationship with members of its Jordan Media Club whose efforts have helped position LG as a premium brand in the Kingdom. The common goal of the two parties is to serve the community, and provide customers with the best communication and the most up-to-date information available.
During the gathering, which included lunch on the honor of the attendees, LG took the opportunity to introduce Mr. Edward Choi, the Director/ Brand marketing for LG Electronics Levant, to the media members. The event was attended by the Chairman of Darweesh Al Khalili & Sons Co. (DK), Mr. Osama Al-Khalili, and the COO of Darweesh Al Khalili & Sons Co. (DK), Mr. Tareq Abbasi. Also on the agenda, was the announcement of the LG Star for 2009: Mrs Oula Farawati – Al Farida Group, an incentive program for the Media Club members, through which the top winner from each quarter stands the chance to be named the LG star at the end of the year.
Commenting on the event, the Managing Director of LG Electronics Levant, Mr. Kevin Cha said, “It is a given fact that we always feel that we, at LG, and the media are one family, and that is why LG Media Club was initiated. These gratifying results testify for the positive role which the members of our Media Club have played in supporting LG in Jordan, and we would like to take this opportunity to show our abiding appreciation and confidence in them”.
On his part, Edward Choi said: "LG Electronics has always been keen on strengthening cooperation among all partners; therefore, our mutual support continues to pay dividends, and we anticipate further cooperation, especially in light of the rewards and benefits we have lined up for our Media Club in 2010”.
