Commenting on the opening Ali Moosa, Retail Head Abu Dhabi & Al Ain, Mashreq said, “We are delighted to announce our expansion of Mashreq Gold into the capital. Through the new Mashreq Gold centre, we will reach out to our most valued customers and become more easily accessible, making banking with Mashreq much more convenient for our most important customers.”
To celebrate the occasion, the Mashreq Gold centre is hosting an exhibition by Emarati artist Narjes Noureddine, the first female GCC professional calligrapher to receive an international professional award in calligraphy from IRCICA-Istanbul in 2004. The art exhibition will showcase some of the artist’s recent work and will be open to Mashreq Gold customers.
Narjes has participated in many local and international exhibitions since 2001, organized by Dubai Department of Tourism, Sharjah Department of Education, Abu Dhabi Officers Club and other local organizations. The artist has also held many open calligraphy workshops for the public in different events
“Mashreq Gold customer base in Abu Dhabi has significantly increased over the past few years and it was time for us to launch a Mashreq Gold centre dedicated to their financial needs. The Mashreq Gold proposition is specifically tailored to the needs of our most affluent customers. In addition, it is a Mashreq Gold tradition to provide a platform and to support local talent, and this is something we are proud off,” said Omar Asghar, Head of Wealth Management, Mashreq. “We constantly look to offer local artists the opportunity to promote their experiences and passion for art. This calligraphy exhibition is different and unique as it shows the fine art of Arabic and Islamic culture and civilization.”
Mashreq Gold provides personalized investment solutions taking into account its customers objectives and goals, risk appetite, return volatility, investment horizon and investment experience.
“Our aim is not just to provide world class financial solutions to customers but also to encourage an appreciation of fine art, heritage and culture. Through this exhibition, we have reinforced our promise to our customers to provide them unique experiences that improve the quality of life,” concluded Asghar.
The newly opened Mashreq Gold centre is staffed by a team of 10 qualified and experienced staff to meet customer’s banking needs.
