Microsoft to Sponsor Kuwaiti IT Show

Microsoft Gulf announced it would sponsor the upcoming Info "2000 for IT" exhibition to be held in Kuwait, a-Sharq al-Awsat daily reports.
The event will take place in Kuwait International Exhibition building during January 29 to February 4. It is expected to lure more than 45,000 visitors.
Ali Dalloul, Microsoft representative in Kuwait told the newspaper that his company is pleased to sponsor such an event in Kuwait. According to him, the government has shown strong commitment for the intellectual property legislation and is anxious to develop the state's IT infrastructure.
